Bio Fungicides

Plant pathogens, parasitic nematodes, and insect pests are the three important threats to sustainable agriculture. Varsha Bioscience promotes eco-friendly organic biopesticides for the management of these pests and diseases.

  • Pseudomonas fluorescens based biofungicide formulation.
  • Suggested for control of Sheath blight in Rice, Damping-off in chili seedlings, Panama wilt in banana, Wilt in tomato & chickpea, Seeding rot & Dry rot in black gram, Root rot in Sesame; Late leaf spot & rust in groundnut; Red rot & Damping-off in sugar cane.
  • By producing bioactive compounds and inducing the plant defense mechanisms it protects the plant from various phytopathogens
    • DOSAGE & METHODS OF APPLICATION:
    • Seed treatment: Mix 10grams of Agnee per kg seeds uniformly, shade dry, and sow.
    • Sett / Root treatment: Mix 100 grams of Agnee in 10 liters water, dip the rhizome/roots uniformly, shade dry, and plant.
    • Foliar application: Mix 5-10 grams of Agnee in 1-liter water and spray uniformly on the crop at 30, 45, 60, 75, and 90 days after sowing using a low volume sprayer.
    • Soil broadcasting: Mix 1kg of Agnee in 25 kg compost and broadcast over an acre.

    • PRECAUTIONS:
    • Do not mix Agnee with chemical bactericides.
    • Use before the expiry date.
    • Do not keep in direct sunlight.
    • Store at room temperature.

    • A Trichoderma viride based bio fungicide formulation.
    • Suggested for the control of root rot in pulses, damping off in green pepper seedlings, wilt in cowpea, root rot in sesame, and pigeon pea.
    • Kills the plant pathogenic fungi through mycoparasitism, antibiosis, rhizosphere competence, enzyme production, and induction of plant internal defense mechanisms.
